Happy Halloween

William went out trick-or-treating for the first time!! It was very cute. He even walked up to doors and smiled at people when they gave him little treats. He didn't say anything.... we kept prompting him, but he's not overly verbal yet. He loved staring at the Halloween decorations. He would even try to sneak inside houses a few times.

We went door-to-door with my cousin Kari, her husband Chad, and their kids: Katie, Adam, Cory, and a friend of Katie's. The kids were very patient as Will isn't very fast, so they had to wait for him to catch up.

We went to a hotel "Haunted Hallway" first, where businesses would decorate rooms and we weaved in and out of the various rooms down one hall. That was actually pretty cool! Some rooms were kind of scary and very small kids were crying. Not Will! He was so into everything new he was seeing. He wanted to grab everything he saw. He really loved all the lights. Then we went back to Kari's for dinner and let the kids play, before heading out on the town.

William seemed to have a good time. He only had a couple of melt downs when he didn't get to do EXACTLY what he wanted... when he wanted to. He's working on his patience.

Here is Will in his Monkey suit and Daddy waiting in line at the hotel.

That's a little banana attached to Will's right arm.

Will takes a break on the stairs after we finished the "Haunted Hallway".

Playing with the kids (Adam is in the baseball cap and Cory is in the white pants). They were teaching him how to use this toy cash register.

The kids were pulling Will around in this tube and also dragging him around by his feet. They were gentle with him and I was supervising... Will was laughing the whole time. He loves other kids!

Cory loved to be right behind Will, helping and watching him.

The boys seemed to think Will was pretty funny.

Thanks to Aunt Ashley & Grandma Karen for getting Will the SUPER cute costume!!!
