Baby Lindberg: 20 Months.... Playing in the Sandbox

William is now 20 months old! He's a lot of fun and a challenge sometimes. He is fairly head-strong. He likes to do things on his own. He knows what he wants and goes for it. If he is challenged by the word 'no', he will usually try again, but generally follows direction. Every now and then he isn't allowed to do what he wants, when he wants, he'll throw himself on the floor and cry. Although, he doesn't get much attention for this, so it typically doesn't last long.

William is a picky eater. He loves cheese, milk, bread, and peanut butter. He'll eat chicken if there is peanut butter on it and sometimes he'll eat hamburger if there is cheese on it. He does like mesquite smoked salmon. He's coming back around to liking fruit again, but veggies are still out of the question.

William has been a good sleeper. He takes one two hour nap during the day and sleeps about 10 hours at night. He likes his bed time routine and if done right, he'll usually go to bed without a fuss. The most important part of the routine to him is books. He'd read every book on his shelf if we let him. We usually keep it to 2-3 books at bed time. If he's not tired after we say prayers and turn off the light, we've come back in a few hours later to check on him and found him surrounded by all of his books - sound asleep. Keep in mind... all of his books are the hard board books.

William seems to enjoy his daycare. Although he has started crying when we leave him. We thought we'd dodge that toddler phase, because he has always been easy to drop off. He would hit the ground running as soon as we got there. He's finally stopped throwing temper tantrums when we pick him up, which is nice!

William has also started to make faces at himself in the mirror on the way home from daycare. He puts his hands behind his head, bops his head to the music and makes the 'Elivs' lip in the mirror. He also likes to look away and then quickly look back to see if his reflection is still looking at him. It's hard to concentrate on the road sometimes! Over all William is a wonderful baby and we enjoy all the time we have with him. He makes us laugh, he's sweet and loves to cuddle, and he challenges us! What more could you ask for!

William loves to be outside every day. He goes outside at daycare and then after dinner each night. Here are some updated photos of him playing with Daddy in the sandbox.
