Age 84, of Brainerd, MN, passed away Jan. 31st, 2009. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Hulda Tjernberg and two brothers Walter C. and Ernest B. Terry. Survived by husband of 62 years, Dale W. ; two sons, James W. (Kathy); Curtis A. (Susan); one daughter, Carla J. (Ken) LaPorte; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grand children; and many other relatives and friends. Helen graduated from Washburn High School in Mpls. She was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to her Lord Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully as a sunday school teacher, deaconess, choir member, and was active in womenʼs ministries and community Bible studies. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service Thursday,11am. At Grace Point (Salem Baptist) Church, at Rice Creek Rd. and Silver Lake Rd., New Brighton. Visitation Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 NE Highway 65, Fridley, 5-8 pm., and one hour prior to service. Interment at Sunset Memorial Cemetary, Columbia Heights at 2:30 pm., Thursday. Memorials preferred to Alzheimerʼs Disease Research or donorʼs preference.
