Due Date??

Well, it's August 12th! I'm due today! Apparently no one told the baby that. He's late for this very important date. We had yet another doctor appointment today. The last of them. His heart beat is good. He's still head down. However, there are no other changes. No dilation. Nothing new since last week. So we wait...

He's moving about the same, but with less intensity. Most of his movements are less jabbing, which can be nice. Sleep and breathing were getting difficult, until he dropped some. Then things were going great because I had a little more room. However, recently he is beginning to take up that room again, so we're back to uncomfortable sleep, difficulty breathing (when he stretches), and more heart burn! Fun!

We are scheduled to go to the hospital Monday night (8/18) to start the induction process, if he doesn't decide to start things on his own.

This is his dresser and changing station. The quilt was made by Sarah, a friend of mine. We plan to use it for him, but it is so cute, we are using it for a wall hanging for now.


This is his crib, part of his desk at the bottom, his shelves, and another froggy wall hanging. This quilt was mine as a baby. It's kind of interesting that he also got a froggy quilt. We didn't plan that!


We are naming the baby Charles William Lindberg. Matt is the last of the Lindberg men from his Grandfather Dale and this is a family name. This frame shows 5 generations of Lindberg men, beginning with Matt's Dad on the far left. Matt's Grandfather, Dale William Lindberg is next, followed by his Dad - Charles William Lindberg, then his Dad - William Lindberg (no middle name), then his Dad - Charles Lindberg (no middle name) who came to the U.S. from Sweden in the 1800's. We were able to get these pictures courtesy of Matt's Aunt Carla.
